Delisting of games is a practice all too common in this age of digital gaming, but rarely do you see a game get delisted, re-released, and then delisted all over again. That is exactly what is happening with the Deadpool game which is set to be delisted later this week from at least Steam.
Deadpool originally released back in 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC to mediocre reviews, which was then delisted from digital store fronts back in early 2014 after Activision’s license to make Marvel games ended. However, the game was then remastered and released on modern consoles, as well as re-releasing on PC in late 2015, just a few months before the release of the Deadpool movie.
According to ComicBook.com, those wanting to get the game digitally will have to act fast though, as Deadpool is about to be delisted yet again from at least Steam, with others to follow more than likely. The game is currently on sale on many stores, including being $11.99 on Steam and $12 on the Xbox Games Store, so this is definitely the time to pick it up.
You can always still buy the physical release of the game after this time, but those wanting to have it digitally for convenience will need to get it soon, as we have no clue if it will return yet again.
