While it may not have lived up to the hype people had, the January Mini Direct still gave us some quality reveals. One of those was the announcement of Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch and now the first character trailer for the game has been released.
Designed as a love letter to The Legend of Zelda fans, Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition will be bringing the large cast of characters together in one version. As a result, Koei Tecmo has put out a new trailer showcasing soem of the characters in action.
The above trailer features some of these characters, including of course Link, but also new charcacters like Lana, Linkle, and even the villainous Cia. There isn’t really much new to see here for those that have played in the past, but it’s still a well put together trailer to get us excited for the release of the game.
Hyrule Warriors originally released back in 2014 for the Nintendo Switch before being ported to the Nintendo 3DS as Hyrule Warriors Legends in 2016. The later version added exclusive content that the Wii U version never had, making Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition all the more enticing.
Coming with all the content of the previous two releases combined, Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition is set to release in Japan on March 22nd exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, with a release in the West coming sometime this Spring.
